Black Forest Cake

It is the cake of my childhood, I adore it and now I am happy that I learned this recipe. Proud that I manage to surprise my loved ones with my delights

  • 6 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 25 g of cocoa
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • Decoration and filling
  • 700 g sour cream for whipped cream
  • 500 g cherries in compote or frozen
  • a vanilla essence
  • chocolate flakes [I used grated chocolate]

Preparation time: over 120 minutes

HOW TO PREPARE THE RECIPE Black Forest Cake:

Beat the sugar with the eggs and the vanilla sugar until they have doubled in volume, add the oil and mix well until it becomes shiny. Add the flour little by little and mix very well. At the end we add cocoa and continue to mix with a wooden spoon.

Put in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Once removed, let it cool well enough to cut it into 3

Drain the cherries from the compote and add powdered sugar to the juice and mix to sweeten the compote.

We syrup the tops and then we fill them with whipped cream and cherries. We continue like this until the last countertop

We decorate the last top with whipped cream to cover it and leave it in the fridge for a few hours or even overnight if you don't need it that day.

Remove from the fridge on the edge of the cake, decorate with chocolate flakes and decorate the cake with a posh to taste.
